How does Konsus handle changes of scope and requirements during the project?

If there are material changes to scope of work during the project, we discuss and adjust the project plan and quoted hours accordingly in collaboration with you. We do our best to provide an estimate with the information we have available, and always let you know up front if details come to light that can affect the quoted number of hours. We always make sure we have your approval to proceed if changes in project scope require additional hours of work.

Quite commonly, clients wish to increase the project scope or add additional features as they see the project develop. We understand this, and will always try to facilitate any changes or additions to the project during the process.

Can I get a fixed price or subscribe for a monthly number of hours?

If you require 500+ hours of work per month, we suggest that you inquire about our Konsus Dedicated Team solution. We can then set up a plan suited to your needs, and we will hand pick and train a dedicated team that knows the ins and outs of your organization and is always available for instant support. Typically, this is relevant for companies with recurring tasks or larger or ongoing projects that last for several months.

For all other customers, we provide invoice the hours spent after the project is completed.

How does Konsus work?

Doing a project using Konsus is simple by design. After you send us your requirements and files, using our Project Wizard or email, staffing is started automatically and one of our project managers will reply shortly. We carefully staff the optimal team based on skills, experience and availability, and start immediately once you approve the estimate.

Depending on product and project scope, as well as your preferences with regard to involvement, we can provide drafts, samples and alternatives during the project for your review and input. Taking into account your feedback, we complete the project as quickly as possible. All work is quality controlled by the project manager.

We invoice you after the project is completed; no up-front payment is required. We have no fees or hidden costs, and we invoice only the number of hours used, even when it’s lower than what we quoted. You can pay with credit card or PayPal, which has to be added to your account on Konsus.com before we can start the project.

When and where do I receive my invoice?

We invoice projects a few days after completion.

You can pay with credit card or PayPal; log in to your account on Konsus.com, go to Billing Settings, then Payment Methods, and click “Add Payment Method” to provide your payment details. You will then be automatically charged at the invoicing date, and you receive a receipt via email.

Can I get a quote on a complex project without detailed requirements?

Yes, in most cases. While great instructions are the surest way to a great product, we do our best to provide an estimate with the information we have available. Our project managers are trained in scoping and planning projects, and a good Konsus project manager has done tens, and perhaps hundreds of projects, so we will help you figuring out the details.

If further details come to light later in the process that affects the amount of work either way, we adjust the quoted number of hours in collaboration with our customers. This is most common in complex projects with little initial planning, and our customers understand of this dynamic.

How and when do I pay?

You can pay with credit card or PayPal; log in to your account on Konsus.com, go to Billing Settings, then Payment Methods and click “Add Payment Method” to provide your payment details.

We have no upfront fees or required pre-payments; we invoice projects a few days after completion. You will be automatically charged at invoice date, and you receive a receipt via email.

Konsus has integrated with Braintree Payments (a PayPal subsidiary), a validated Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Service Provider, for PCI Compliant storing of credit card and PayPal information. This means that Konsus is not able to access or read the credit card or PayPal details. Please see www.braintreepayments.com for further information about Braintree.

How much does Konsus cost?

To work with a team consisting of a Konsus project manager and our top-rated freelance specialists, pricing ranges from $19/hr. to $39/hr., depending on the type of project. Read more about our pricing here.

We ensure that the number of hours is kept as low as possible, and we invoice only the number of hours used, even when it’s lower than what we quoted. Based on thousands of projects, we have created clear guidelines for how long time a specific task should take.
